Kris at a recent function when interviewed said, “Dad always enjoyed his owners and their company as much as he liked training the horses. I feel that this has held the stable in good with owners and I intend to continue that feeling.”

The stable is determined to continue the trade mark of an ‘owners stable' with friendly, informative and personal approach. Signs are already positive for the young stable with new owners and exceptional performances on the track.

Kris in his first season has already proven he has adopted his father's ability to produce consistent winners. Kris in his first season amassed $2 Million in prize money, was 16th on the Australian trainers list, trained multiple black type and Group success and Group 1 glory with County Tyrone in the 2004 Metropolitan Handicap. At a relatively young age for a horse trainer, being thrown into the deep end under trying circumstances, Kris Lees and his stable are going to grow and become an Australian Turf Racing success story.
